Where does Task Scheduler actually create the schedules? Asking from an architecture point of view so we can understand the innerworkings.
Hi Hiral, thanks for posting! Schedules are saved along with the tasks in the .3T folder. It is maintained by Studio 3T. I hope that clarifies your question.
That’s a good question right here!
Currently new employees have to set up multiple tasks of ours by hand with a setup documentation and lots of code because theres no export/import feature.
Is it maybe possible to copy paste these random-name task files within .3T/tasks to the other computers? I assume that won’t work because these are linked to connections and will kind of break in another Studio instance.
Any hope import/export will be a thing in the future?
While that is indeed an issue, Studio 3T would allow you to fix the connections (by editing each task). Then you’d at least be able to keep the task definition and schedule.
This could be worked around by also copying the connection files, but that would overwrite any existing connection file, of course.
We’ve got something in the works.
Uuhhh, something looks very promising! Looking forward to that!
